- Payment mode: Cash (USD/IDR) or card (Visa/Mastercard)
- Validity: 30 days (single entry)
- Extensions: You can get this validity extended by paying a fees for usage for next 30 day at any Bali local immigration office.
Pro Tip: Apply for e-VOA online before departure. It saves 20–30 minutes at the airport, especially during peak season.
Documents You Should Carry
Even if not asked, always keep:
- Return flight ticket
- Hotel booking confirmation
- Passport with at least 6 months validity
Best Area to Stay in Bali (From Experience)
For first-time visitors, Kuta is the safest and most convenient option.
Why Kuta?
- Close to airport
- Plenty of hotels for every budget
- Beach clubs, restaurants & markets nearby
- Easy pickups for tours
Hotel Budget
- Budget hotels: ₹2000–3000
- 4-star hotel with breakfast: ~₹3500
My suggestion: Don’t over-spend on hotels in Bali. You’ll be out most of the day exploring.
Airport to Hotel Transport Options
- Taxi: ₹600–₹1000 (recommended after long flight)
- Public Bus (K02): ₹50 (only if traveling light)
After immigration + luggage, taxi is worth the comfort.
Exploring South Bali – Culture & Sunset Views
Garuda Vishnu Cultural Park (GWK)
This park gives you a glimpse of Bali’s cultural identity.
- Entry ticket: ₹750
- Shuttle inside park: ₹200
The massive statue of Lord Vishnu on Garuda is impressive, but the real value lies in understanding Balinese culture through shows and architecture.

This Ramayana-based performance is unique because:

My take: Even if you’re not into cultural shows, watch this one. It’s entertaining and meaningful.
Nusa Penida – The Highlight of Bali Trip
If someone asks me “What is the best part of Bali?”, my answer is Nusa Penida.

- Ferry ride: 45 minutes
